Talk by Gary Wilburn, MD of HPW Architecture: How do we deliver affordable low-energy buildings as the norm?

At Energy Alton’s next public talk on Wednesday 16 May at 7.30 pm, Gary Wilburn, Managing Director of HPW Architecture (based in Romsey) will describe how it is possible to build affordable highly energy-efficient buildings, using prefabricated building technologies and integrated renewable energy generation. HPW Architects are finalists in the Edie Sustainability Awards 2018 for the Sustainable Building of the Year.  The building regulation standards for energy efficiency were reduced in 2015, as the large housing developers convinced the Government that highly energy-efficient homes cost too much.  We would like to prove them wrong!  The event is at Alton Community Centre, Amery Street, Alton, GU34 1HN.  Free entry, bar, all are welcome
