Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Friday 25 Sept 2020 – online!

In 2020 sadly, we are not able to organise our usual event given the current restrictions, and this might mean that we run the risk of not being able to raise the incredible sums we normally do…..so I’m hoping that we can still raise vital funds for Macmillan nurses doing it predominantly online instead – as is the way of things at the moment!

We’ll be relying heavily on online donations this year – it would be amazing to beat last year’s coffee morning total of £725.00  WOW!

If you haven’t been to our fundraiser before, and would like to support us and make a donation, it’s very quick and easy, just click on our special funding page link here – thank you very much!

https://thyg.uk/BUU004082692    (This can be done at anytime from today onwards, not just on the 25th Sept).

To all our local supporters, please see below for the extra bits:

In place of the event itself, normally held in the Ropley Coffee Room, we’re planning to hold a Virtual coffee morning on Zoom between 10am-12 on Fri 25th Sept so that we can have the same opportunity to meet up, but online. It will be a ‘pop in’ type gathering, joining in at anytime, and staying for as long/little as you like. No time pressure, everyone is welcome, wherever they are! I’ll be sending out the Zoom link the day before.

Those of you have an hour to spare that morning might like to get together with a friend for coffee and cake, (in the spirit of our normal ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’), connecting with us on Zoom for a bit, and donate to our dedicated funding page at https://thyg.uk/BUU004082692We’ll also be accepting cheques and cash donations left at the Courtyard Shop as usual.

I am hoping to still offer the Silent Auction to bid for some fabulous flowers from Catkin & Pussywillow in Four Marks (with all the proceeds of the top bid going to Macmillan) – I can show these via Zoom and anyone who joins us online can leave me a private bid via the chat box or send me an email. I will deliver to the highest bidder.

We’re also planning to sell tickets and run the Raffle outside the Courtyard Shop that day, together with some lovely helpers and prizes too of course, so do visit us then too!.

If you can’t join us on 25th, please remember to make your donation as soon as you like – please share the donation link and tell your friends, and I will let everyone know the total once I have the final figures.

Thank you very much – and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible via Zoom on 25th!
