NEWS FROM ROPLEY PARISH HALL

Hooray! The new extension is practically finished although there are still a few snagging items to be dealt with but the good news is that the Car Park is now fully operational.

Those using the hall will see that the kitchen has been decorated and the toilet for the disabled has had a complete refurbishment and we are pleased to report that after all the problems that were encountered which included flooding and walls collapsing, the rebuild came in close on budget so a huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing the plan to fruition.

The Hall Committee are not resting on their laurels and we are moving to the next phase of ensuring that the hall is moving forward to meet modern day demands. The false ceiling over the stage has been removed which is to facilitate the installation of new stage lighting which will be available for general use. We also intend to replace the worn out blackout blinds and update the kitchen when the necessary funds are available.

Those using the hall after the half term break will, we hope, reap the benefits of the deep clean that has been booked to clear the hall of all the dust that had accumulated during the building work.

As always, we thank you for your patience during the refurbishment and we hope that you will enjoy using the excellent facilities that we offer.

Ropley Parish Hall Committee wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a Successful 2020.
