Ropley Coffee Room News

Following enforced Covid-19 closure, the Coffee Room has re-opened in accordance with Government guidelines. We have conducted a risk assessment and put in place Covid secure measures to protect the wellbeing of everyone using the Coffee Room.

Currently users are limited generally to 6 people with 2 metre social distancing measures, however this can be increased where people belong to the same household or bubble group and in relation to the activity.  Bookings are being restricted in the short term to existing regular hirers which will allow time and space for all of us to become accustomed to and gain confidence in the new arrangements.

Please note that when the weather is good the Coffee Room does have a small area of secure outside space which can be utilised.  As you will be aware, guidelines for use of community halls can change at any time.  Please liaise with Sue Buckell on 01962 772671 (coffeeroom@btinternet.com) who will be happy to assist with up-to-date information and booking.

Plans for internal refurbishment of the Coffee Room received a boost when Parish Councillors meeting in August via Zoom voted a grant of up to £12,000 from the Community Infrastructure Levy on a match funding basis with the Hagen Trust and other grant providers.  We are extremely grateful for this support.
