DESCRIPTION:\nEvery September the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Historic Chur
 ches Trust (HIHCT) organises Ride and Stride\, the sponsored fundraising e
 vent which encourages you to walk\, cycle\, ride or even drive to as many 
 churches in Hampshire as you wish to.\n\nThis year Ride and Stride is bein
 g held on Saturday\, 9th September. Over 400 churches are taking part in H
 ampshire and the Isle of Wight so there are plenty to choose from!\nAll th
 ree of our churches in the BMRT area are taking part – St Nicholas at Bi
 shop Sutton\, St Peter’s at Ropley and St Mary Magdalene at West Tisted.
 \nWhy not get a group together and see how many churches you can visit? Ha
 lf of the money raised goes to the individual churches. The remaining mone
 y goes to HIHCT to help churches in need of repair or for building improve
 ments.\nMore information and the sponsorship forms can be found on the HIH
 CT website (www.hihct.org.uk) and the St Peter’s website (stpetersropley
 .org.uk). Please remember to name one of our local churches on your form!\
