The churchyard team are back in action caring for the two acre site as the grass and wild flowers come into their own. If you are ever in need of a change of scenery or just a bit of company, then do come along and meet up with them, they will be delighted to see you and welcome you onboard. They meet on a Tuesday from 10.30 for a couple of hours with a cup of tea and some biscuits never too far away.
Saturday 11th May from 10.00 – 12.00 we will be holding a churchyard working party. We are looking for help to clear some of the land down by the back car park that has become overgrown with Doc and other weeds. Perhaps not the most glamorous of jobs, but many hands make light work and we are determined to get on top of them before they romp further across our churchyard! No need to sign up, just come along with your own garden fork if you have one. Coffee and cake provided for all.
