As part of the Improving Ropley Footpaths project, a kissing gate has been installed on footpath 4 at the junction with Gascoigne Lane to improve safety.
At first sight, you might think the gate is locked – but this is not the case! The padlock is for a RADAR key for people with large mobility vehicles to release the latch so that the gate can be opened beyond the normal closing point.
The footpath serves as a link between the Station, Ropley Dean, Gascoigne Lane and the centre of the village. Find out more about the Improving Ropley Footpaths project here: https://www.myropley.org.uk/footpaths/
