We have enjoyed our first term back at the Pre-School and our lovely new staff are already fitting in really well, with lots of fun activities with the children. Most recently they have introduced a letter and number of the week. Each letter has a book that ties in with it and for the letter “A” it was “A Squash and a Squeeze”, the children loved the farm yard animals in it so went on to investigate the number 3 in “The Three Little Pigs”. They have made some fantastic houses and piggy masks, taking it in turns to be the 3 pigs and act the story out, we can’t wait to find out where the children’s ideas lead us next!
It is also now prime puddle jumping season and they have been out and about every day making the most of the weather! We are looking forward to watching the season change, the changes in colour of the leaves as well as playing with pumpkins and starting to create some special gifts for Christmas.
We have held 2 Open Mornings /Afternoons so far this term and are excited to be welcoming some new characters to the setting. Some mornings are now becoming quite busy but there are still opportunities for additional children to join us! Don’t forget we now take children from 2 years old and open a couple of afternoons a week until 3.30pm. Please drop us an email if you would like to have a look around, find out about any future welcome days or sign your child up for an upcoming term so we can reserve their place – we don’t want you to miss out!
