Yes, we are really hopeful that we will be able to hold our first Village Tea Party in over eighteen months on:

Ropley Parish Hall – 2.30 pm until 4 .30 pm.

We would like to make this a really special event to remember all those people, some of whom were regular supporters of the Village Tea Parties, who are no longer with us, including HRH The Duke of Edinburgh who, even though he didn’t actually visit us, did love a good Garden Party!

As always, there will be no charge but all donations will be sent to a Charity in their memory.

If you are new to the village this is the perfect place to meet people and make new friends and for those who have been here longer why not take the opportunity to welcome others.

Whatever your reason for coming we can promise a warm welcome, delicious cakes and scones, tea, coffee, soft drinks, maybe some entertainment and even a chance to take a trip down Memory Lane as we will have Photo Albums from the Village Archives on display.

This really is a gathering for all ages from the very young to the not so young, everyone is welcome and if you need a lift, just let us know.

We have missed seeing you all and very much hope that you have missed the Tea Parties and will come and see us on 30th June.

We are very much hoping that we can make these a monthly event as we know how important it is for everyone to have the opportunity to meet up, but to do this we will need help!

Would you be willing to make the occasional cake or batch of scones? If so we would be delighted to hear from you as it would be lovely to have other bakers to call on.
