Every September the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Historic Churches Trust (HIHCT) organises Ride and Stride, the sponsored fundraising event which encourages you to walk, cycle, ride or even drive to as many churches in Hampshire as you wish to.
This year Ride and Stride is being held on Saturday, 9th September. Over 400 churches are taking part in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight so there are plenty to choose from!
All three of our churches in the BMRT area are taking part – St Nicholas at Bishop Sutton, St Peter’s at Ropley and St Mary Magdalene at West Tisted.
Why not get a group together and see how many churches you can visit? Half of the money raised goes to the individual churches. The remaining money goes to HIHCT to help churches in need of repair or for building improvements.
