HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Volunteering:
Currently we’re looking for:
- people with graphic design/artistic skills to help us on various projects
- young people to volunteer in the shop – you need to be a minimum of 14yrs old and have parental consent. The community work experience looks good on CVs and counts towards your D of E.
The shop is used by people of all ages from babies to nonagenarians and we value having a good range of people involved to keep us relevant. Don’t be shy, just ask the shop volunteers or email ropleyshop@gmail.com.
Shopping:
Please use the shop, it’s a community-based enterprise, whose whole ethos is about providing a shop which allows us to then provide much needed services eg prescriptions, post office, community hub. Please help us to keep these vital services going.
Standing Order Donations:
One way of supporting the shop is via a standing order donation. This can be monthly, quarterly or annual. The advantage of this is you are in control and can amend it as you wish. You might only use the shop occasionally, but would still like to help, to make sure that Ropley always has a village shop and post office, so if you would like to set one up, please call in at the shop or email ropleyshop@gmail.com and we will pass you all the information you need.
