and the sun even came out! … a huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Big Lunch to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III , making it a truly village event.  There was everything from picnic rugs to whole dining tables resplendent with magnificent feasts and, we estimate, around 400 people enjoying spending time together.

The Ropley Fayre committee would particularly like to thank the marquee squads, the Wrens, the Hunts and the Culverwells for all their hard work on the day as well as Nicky & the pavilion team, our fantastic competition judges, Ropley Music Nights for the loan of sound equipment and Tim Day for his invaluable help.
